Supported Cryptocurrencies
Nexus Market accepts multiple cryptocurrencies to give you flexibility and privacy options.
₿ Bitcoin (BTC)
The original cryptocurrency with the widest adoption
Ⓜ Monero (XMR)
Privacy-focused cryptocurrency with untraceable transactions
Ł Litecoin (LTC)
Fast and low-fee alternative to Bitcoin
Ⓩ Zcash (ZEC)
Privacy coin with optional shielded transactions

Why Monero is Recommended
Experienced darknet users prefer Monero for maximum privacy.
Untraceable Transactions
PrivacyRing signatures make it impossible to trace the sender
Hidden Amounts
SecurityRingCT hides transaction amounts from observers
Stealth Addresses
AnonymousOne-time addresses protect recipient identity
No Blockchain Analysis
ProtectedXMR transactions cannot be analyzed like Bitcoin
How to Deposit Funds
Step-by-step deposit process for all supported cryptocurrencies.
After logging into Nexus Market, navigate to Wallet → Deposit and select your preferred cryptocurrency. The marketplace generates a unique deposit address for each transaction — never reuse old deposit addresses as they expire after a set period for security reasons.
Copy the deposit address carefully (use the copy button, don't type manually) and open your external wallet application. Paste the address, enter the amount, and confirm the transaction. Monero deposits require 10 network confirmations (~20 minutes), while Bitcoin requires 2-3 confirmations (~30-60 minutes depending on network congestion). Lightning Network Bitcoin deposits are credited almost instantly.
Your balance updates automatically once confirmations are complete. If a deposit doesn't appear after the expected time, check the transaction hash on a block explorer and contact support with the TX ID.
How Withdrawals Work
Transparent withdrawal process with competitive fees.
Go to Wallet → Withdraw and enter your personal wallet address. Withdrawals are processed automatically within 30-60 minutes during normal operation. A flat 1% network fee applies to cover blockchain transaction costs — there are no hidden charges.
For security, large withdrawals may require additional verification through your PGP key. We recommend withdrawing to a wallet you fully control (not an exchange) to maintain your privacy. If using Monero, ensure your receiving wallet is synced to the current blockchain height before initiating the withdrawal.
Choosing the Right Cryptocurrency
Each supported coin has different strengths — here's how to decide.
Maximum Privacy → Monero (XMR)
RecommendedRing signatures, stealth addresses, and confidential transactions make XMR truly untraceable. Best for users who prioritize anonymity above all. Read our Monero guide.
Speed & Convenience ? Bitcoin + Lightning
If you already hold BTC, Lightning Network offers near-instant deposits with minimal fees. Good for users who value convenience and already have Bitcoin infrastructure.
Low Fees ? Litecoin (LTC)
Litecoin offers faster block times and lower fees than standard Bitcoin. A practical choice when network congestion makes BTC fees expensive.
Important Payment Security Tips
Never share your wallet seed phrase or private keys. Use a dedicated wallet for Nexus transactions. Consider using Monero for maximum privacy. Always verify deposit addresses carefully - transactions cannot be reversed. For more security tips, visit our Security Guide.
